Argued the case Drummond vs. Reid Estate and received a decision which changed the law so that family members could proceed with a case for damages of a family law claimant if that claimant should die before trial, 1992

Received the Ontario Trial Lawyer’s 1997 "Most Popular Professor" Award and plaque for a lecture given to a class of third year law students at Queen’s University. The lecture was one of twelve that were given to the same class by various well-known practicing Trial Lawyers in Ontario during the semester. The lawyers were rated by the students, 1998

Recipient of the Athena Award. This award is given out annually by the Athena Foundation to a business leader in the Windsor Region based on professional excellence; dedication to community service; and generosity in assisting other women achieve professional success, 2004

Invited by the 2004 University of Windsor Law School graduates to address Convocation on behalf of my graduating class.

Received "Distinguished Service Award" at the Ontario Trial Lawyer's 2004 Fall Convention.

Recently settled a case, without a Trial, where her young client received a Structured Settlement which tied for the highest Structure of a Canadian law suit that McKellar Structured Settlements has ever done (and they do 2/3 of all the structured settlements in Canada). The lawsuit settled for approximately 8.3 million dollars (in addition to the more than 2 million previously received in no-fault benefits). The total payout for this family was more than 10.5 million dollars.

Co-Chair of the Courthouse series continuing education for lawyers in Windsor in February 2005 and 2006.

Chaired a panel at the Advocates Society Fall Convention in Mexico in November 2006.
