Shirley has a keen interest in both medicine and law and a strong desire to help those less fortunate than herself (especially women and children).

Played the role of Defence Counsel in a video on sexual assault. A series of three video tapes in production on the subject of sexual assault in an effort to enlighten and effect changes.
